The NAS is a project of global proportion. Much of the framework (over 100 proprietary technologies) for the system has been completed, however, significant resources are needed to launch this anti-terror, anti-crime project. The great aspect of the NAS is that it has no limitations and allows governments to add operational modules in very cost effective ways. Such modules could include all aspects of government from health care, education, law enforcement, electoral, purchasing, accountability, fraud prevention and numerous others.  The potential savings are literally mind-boggling, especially as they represent annual savings. It is estimated that if the NAS was fully implemented within the USA it could save the domestic economy and tax payers over a quarter of a trillion dollars a year. There are numerous countries for which the National Access System has already been pinpointed. These countries are looking at band aid solutions that are not only inferior, but extremely expensive. The Obama government has proposed to spend 50 billion dollars on a health care restructuring. Using NAS, the health system would be able to piggyback the NAS system at a small fraction of that proposed cost and allow for full automation of all aspects of billing, tracking and fraud monitoring and prevention from the public as well as the health care industry including standardized billing from drug and insurance companies. Such a setup could save in excess of 50 billion a year from fraud and improved efficiencies nation wide within the health care system alone. The NAS system would allow for a secure way to have each citizens medical records maintained as private while ensuring that vital data is available only to those authorized by that citizen in order to help with proper diagnosis. 

(A citizen gets into an accident 1,500 miles from home  is rushed into the hospital where his/her NAS Card is used to allow them to review any and all drugs he/she may be taken and any other medical issues that may play a vital role in the treatment they will need.)

(A citizen receives a prescription drug that is classified as a narcotic has it filled at one location then tries to use a copy of the prescription at another location and finds that they are tied to the NAS drug prescription control system and refuse to fill the prescription as they are aware of the other original fill down the road. The doctor who written the prescription would find an alert within it's prescription alert system and also the clients medical records next time access is made would have a flag.)
